Solving the main problems with the client
Required components for running the client
Before launching the game, make sure that all necessary components are installed. Without them, the client may not work correctly:
Most problems with the game are solved by Verify. To do this, follow these steps:
- Disable antivirus/Windows Defender or add the client folder to exceptions
- Run launcher.exe and click Verify
If this does not help, try the following solutions
Common Errors and Their Solutions
The second game window does not open through the launcher
- Go to the "element" folder
- Launch the game directly via ElementClient.exe or ElementClient.bat
Screen resolution is greatly stretched, no access to settings
- Go to the "element" folder
- Open userdata/systemSettings.ini
- Change the values:
RenderWid = 1920
RenderHei = 1080
If it doesn't help, delete systemSettings.ini, the settings will be reset
The game closes immediately after launching
- Rename the client path to English
- Example of a correct path: C:/Games/Avelon
- Example of an incorrect path: C:/ゲーム/Avelon
- Restart the game
Corrupted client files (hieroglyphs in models.pck, etc.)
- Run Verify
- If the error persists, perform a full reinstallation of the client
Errors MSVCP140.dll, VCRUNTIME140.dll and similar
- Install Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 (x64)
Error 0xc000007b on startup
- Uninstall and reinstall DirectX and Visual C++
- Run the launcher again
The game boutique does not open
- Go to the element\userdata\layout folder and delete its contents
- Launch the game and reopen the boutique
Error "Incorrect personal data" when setting character appearance
- Rename the appearance config to English
- Install the appearance in the game
